Acts 2 Fellowship

"We are a fellowship that strives to build a Christ centered community on campus. We meet weekly for Bible studies & prayer, and worship on campus on Sundays. Our vision is to share the gospel and help students to spiritually thrive during college."

The Biological Sciences Scholars Program (BSSP) is committed to promoting excellence in scholarship, service, and leadership among the Biological Sciences Scholars and the UCSD community. BSSP is a learning community dedicated to providing undergraduate students: support for student transition to UCSD and the Biology community establishing a connection with biology peers exploration of issues and opportunities in the sciences and professions understanding of the diversity of UCSD and the field of science opportunities to enhance leadership skills guidance to resources and faculty to assist students on their science journey

Chinese Students and Scholars Association

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) is a non-profit organization at University of California, San Diego. Those UCSD students, postdocs, visiting scholars and their family members coming from People's Republic of China are automatically eligible for membership. As one of the largest student organizations on UCSD campus, CSSA serves as an important vehicle in enhancing mutual help and affinity among individuals of the local Chinese community.

Colleges Against Cancer is a non-profit nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by initiating and supporting programs for cancer education in college communities. The FUSION Hip-Hop Dance Events Association is a student organization involved in the cultural, social, community, and academic projects that benefit its members, its campus, and its community. The goal of FHHDEA is to educate and celebrate the unique Asian American cultural identity and its major presence in the emerging hip-hop dance community at the University of California, San Diego and beyond. FHHDEA aims to recognize excellence in the UCSD hip-hop dance community, support dancers, and provide performance opportunities to spread their art to the general public.

Girl Up at UCSD

In alignment with Girl Up and the United Nations Foundation’s mission, the Girl Up club at UC San Diego aims to empower others to get involved, teach their communities that girls matter and make sure that girls in developing countries are educated, healthy, safe, counted and positioned to be the next generation of leaders. Girl Up is an innovative campaign of the United Nations Foundation. We give American girls the opportunity to become global leaders and channel their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for the United Nations programs that help some of the world’s hardest-to- reach adolescent girls.

Health Corps at UCSD

College students will conceptualize and implement Health Corps at UCSD, which will deliver meaningful community service focusing on the health services sector for the benefit of communities of San Diego County. Through collaborations with the UCSD School of Medicine, Health and Medical Professions Preparation Program (HMP3), Center for Student Involvement (CSI), faculty, staff, students, community healthcare providers and nonprofit organizations, Health Corps at UCSD will serve clients and local nonprofits. We will engage in community mapping and meet with local nonprofits to identify and develop health related community placements for UCSD student volunteers.

MEDICAL FRIENDS

Medical Friends is an educational, non-profit student organization established to bridge the gap between pre-medical students at the University of California, San Diego. We pair upperclassmen mentors (usually 3rd and 4th years) with lowerclassmen (1st and 2nd years) and allow mentors to assist lowerclassmen in class selection, develop networking skills, present information regarding future career opportunities/internships,and to continuously inform members about on-campus and off-campus resources for pre-medical students.

This organization enlighten students who are trying to get information about seeking job, but those people who don't know what to do about it. We are especially targeting at Japanese company either in Japan or in the United States. We basically try to understand any subject relating to Job hunting including Entree Sheet, Interview, and so on. We will have some instructors and be held some events to get better understanding about this subject.

The purpose of Students for Carl shall be to inform the student body with Carl DeMaio's candidacy for the congressinal seat in the 52nd district. We wish to communicate Carl DeMaio’s positions and act as an effective communication channel for the student body to the Carl DeMaio Campaign. TRUTH AWARENESS ORGANIZATION

TRUTH AWARENESS ORGANIZATION also called FALUN DAFA IS GOOD is a non-profit student organization that seeks to bring awareness to the UCSD community about the millions of innocent Falun Dafa practitioners that are being tortured and persecuted, by the Chinese Communist Government, for not recanting their faith and believing in Trutfhfullness, Compassion and Forbearance. Persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners are subject to all forms of brutal torture by the Chinese Government in their aim to eradicate the practice. Evidence from acclaimed sources have proven that thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners have been killed from LIVE ORGAN HARVESTING as a form of execution for China’s lucrative organ transplant market. T.A.O. strives to educate and mobilize support and action to help bring an end to this lawless, 15 year, inhumane persecution of the Falun Dafa in China!
